EUMOFA held the Talk “The Crisis Beneath the Surface: Decreased Groundfish Availability in the EU Market” on October 2 during the Conxemar fair in Vigo.
This workshop focused on the significant decline in the availability of key groundfish species in the European Union and its impact on the seafood industry. Moreover, the debate also touched key topics on the international context and speakers examined potential solutions in order to adapt to new challenges in the future. The panel included:
- Christophe Vande Weyer – Policy Officer, European Commission, Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE);
